| Frequently
Asked Questions
How long after I order will it take me to receive
my Bat?
It normally takes between 2-5 days to process
your order and make your bat and then an additional 3-5 business
days for shipping. Total time is normally 7-5 business days. Because
we custom-make every bat to your specifications, there is no additional
time required for laser engraving.
Is your eCommerce Secure?
Yes. Once you have selected
your bat and choose to Checkout, you are directed into a secure
PayPal site for checkout using an major credit card, or an existing
PayPal account if you prefer. BuyWoodBats.com chose PayPal because
of their expertise in handling eCommerce transactions securely and
smoothly. PayPal (owned by eBay) is the largest processor of online
transactions in the world.
Do I have to open a PayPal account during Checkout?
No. Once you have entered your
credit card information, you have the option to not create a PayPal
account. However, if you are planning on purchasing from us again,
or using PayPal to transact on another website, it is recommended
that you create an account. That way, you won't have to enter your
personal information again when you go to checkout.
How do I tell you what to engrave on my Bat?
Each Bat order page has one button to order the
bat without inscription and another button to order with inscription.
If you order a bat which includes inscription, you will be asked
to provide the text you want engraved on your bat during checkout.
You may have up to 14 characters engraved on your bat. If you don't
provide text, we will inscribe your name on the bat, so just leave
the field blank. If you have any questions about inscription, send
an email to internet@buywoodbats.com.
How much do you charge to ship?
Our shipping charges for US orders are based
on the number of bats on your order.
Additional charges may apply on International Orders.
We will send you an email advising you of any additional charges
before shipping.
Do you charge tax on online orders?
We charge sales tax of 7.75% on orders to California
addresses in compliance with state and federal law.
